Website Changes at Al's Tarot . Com

Updated: 5 days ago

The 2024 calendar year started off on a good note with solid movement forward for Al's Tarot.

At the end of April I went to New York City for The Reader's Studio (click link for more info about this amazing yearly event ==> https://thereadersstudio.com) During this year's Reader's Studio I was honored to lead a Breakfast Roundtable Discussion Group in which I initiate a conversation with the attendees by introducing my topic titled, "The Gatekeepers : Where's My Keys At?!"; whether gatekeeping in tarot communities is good, bad or ugly. I think my talk was a big hit and it got people thinking and talking about what gatekeeping means to them and their worlds. I had fun with the talk.

Soon after my NYC trip, getting back to the real world again, I lost my daytime job with the DMV of Wisconsin, which kinda blindsided me. They said I was fired because I was not at the performance level they wanted from me. I took too long to take care of my customers from start to finish, and generally it took a little bit longer than they wanted. Push the guests in-n-out in record time. Deep down I'm sure I knew it was coming, but it's still a surprise when you hear the words that fire you from a job that I did enjoy doing. I like to help people.

Which is why I love being a tarot card reader. I have over 25 years of experience helping the people proactively move forward in their lives. With that said, I have been thinking about my website, and how I interact with the souls who are interested in my services. I am thinking I need to revamp my website, meaning the look of the site, changing the layout. Restructure the services that I offer and raise my reading rates. Note: current rates will stay the same until December 31st, 2024; on January 1st, 2025 my rates will officially be raised. I am looking forward to brainstorming ideas.

One item I can share with you right now is that I will be removing the "Book-Online" page from the website. I am deleting the self booking option because most of the time when people want a reading from me they reach out directly to set an appointment, versus going through the online process. Appointments are still required for all Al's Tarot services, but guests won't be able to book their own readings.

I have already removed the "Calendar" page, this was where I posted the outings I was invited to be a part of in the world. I will still share the events where I will be if you want to see me in person.

Keep your eyes on Al's Tarot . Com to stay in the loop and not miss anything of the exciting happenings. Happy Blessings.
